On Tuesday May 11th, 2021 at 1:59PM CST (Chicago time), the moon goes fully dark in the sign of Taurus.
The power of the new moon lies in her shadow. It is in this darkness, the gift of the alignment of the earth, sun and moon, that we have a moment to be still, to embrace the potential of what is yet to come for this lunar cycle. It is the power of new beginnings and the power to manifest our dreams, goals, hopes and wishes in our next cycle.
The sun and moon are both in Taurus. Taurus is an earth sign ruled by nature, Mother Earth and Venus, the planet of beauty. Taurus is the sign of beauty in physical form. Taurus is the first bounty of the earth after a long winter, the flowersof spring first emerging from the earth. Taurus is the fixed Earth Sign of grounding and fixed Earth energy. It is Creation, the joy of being in the here and the now.
This month, Uranus is near the sun and moon as well. Uranus is the revolutionary of the solar system, the oddball planet, her rings are off to the side and her influence may create unexpected surprises of manifestation in this cycle.
