Tuesday morning at 12:32AM, the moon was full in the sign of Scorpio under the sun in Taurus. Not only that, it is also a Supermoon. The moon is definitely closer by how it looks so much bigger than normal when it woke me up early Monday morning, as seen in the photo!
As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I connect to the energy of the Earth whenever I am in the Reiki energy, whether it is leading a Reiki meditation, a Reiki circle, giving a private session, or even connecting to the magic of Reiki for my own benefit.
Sixth Chakra is the Third Eye. The Sanskrit is Ajna. To perceive, to see. The energetic center is in the middle of the forehead in between the eyes. The element is light. The body parts are the eyes, the pineal gland in the midbrain.
I often invoke the concept of the seven main chakras in my Reiki practice, along with two other chakras that may not be talked about much in other systems but I consider very important; the Earth Star and the Soul Star Chakras.
As part of my invocation in connecting with Reiki for a meditation, a Reiki circle or session, I take some time to connect with the energy of the Earth. We often think of the Earth as static, merely a rock floating in space, but she is also a living being.
Today the planet Mercury moves into retrograde, transiting a portion of the sign Aries over the next three weeks. Mercury is the fastest moving planet of our solar system and the nearest to the sun. He rules over issues of communication, electronics, little details, thoughts and ideas.
