Heart Chakra: Raison d’être
When I give Reiki sessions to others and even for myself, the heart is the area that is most requested for healing. While all the Chakras are important and influence one another, the heart is the center of it all.
Third Chakra: I Want to Shine!
Next in the chakra series is the power center, the Third Chakra, the Solar Plexus, Manipura, City of Jewels. The color is yellow like the Sun. How we shine as individuals within the collective.
Second Chakra: I Just Want to be Happy!
Moving upwards in our journey of the chakras and the role they play within Reiki, after the root chakra is the second chakra. It is also known as the sacral chakra.
First Chakra: Root
The First Chakra within the physical body is the root chakra. The Sanskrit is Muladara, which translates to “root support.” The image of this chakra is symbolized by a red square (stable) with a downward pointing triangle (the flow of the energy is downward).

Reiki Angel: Laurelle Shanti Gaia
A wonderful Reiki teacher became part of the world of Spirit this past Friday March 12, 2021, Laurelle Shanti Gaia. I met her in 2016 at the International Reiki Retreat in Sedona as well as taking Reiki Levels 1 and 2 with her and her husband and teaching partner, Michael Baird.
Monday Night Reiki Circle
How to have a Good Monday. Mondays have started being my favorite day of the week – surprising, right? It’s typically the day that’s filled with early mornings, recovering from the weekend, starting the responsibility portion of the week for many of us.
Rose Quartz: The Stone of Divine Love and Compassion
It is the stone of Divine love and compassion. It embodies and inspires unconditional love for yourself, your fellow beings and the Earth herself.
Spring!
On my morning walk last week, I saw tiny yellow and green growth pushing up from the earth of what I can assume are the start of daffodils. Spring! Yes!
